Dr Eshini Perera is a Specialist Dermatologist and Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists. She is dedicated to providing exceptional, evidence-based care across medical and aesthetic dermatology.

Dr Perera brings a wealth of academic achievement and clinical expertise to her practice. She graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2009 with a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery and a Bachelor of Advanced Medical Science. She subsequently completed a Master of Medicine at the University of Melbourne, a Master of Public Health and Epidemiology at the University of Sydney, and Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, in addition to her Fellowship of the Australasian College of Dermatologist.

Her dermatological training has included appointments at leading institutions including the Queensland Institute of Dermatology, Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, Mater Misericordiae Hospital, Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital and Princess Alexandra Hospital. Prior to completing her specialist training, Dr Perera was actively involved in Dermatology research, contributing to a deeper understanding of advances in skin health and treatment.

Dr Perera has published widely in Australian and International medical journals and has contributed as a first author to multiple dermatology textbook chapters. Her commitment to education and research underpins her approach to delivering the highest standards of specialist care.

With comprehensive training across general dermatology, hair disorders and advanced dermatological procedures, Dr Perera has particular expertise in areas including hair loss, laser and energy-based treatments, acne scarring, rosacea, vascular conditions, platelet-rich plasma therapies and cosmetic dermatology.

Dr Perera has a special interest in medical dermatology, including hair loss disorders, as well as personalised cosmetic dermatology, with a focus on achieving natural, considered results while maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
